Almost crawling

Almost crawling

I’ve been doing push-ups (lifting up onto all fours) for a couple weeks, but I never really went anywhere. Then a few days ago I realized I could go from sitting, to all fours, then I could reach out. This really helps a lot when I’m trying to grab something I can’t quite reach while sitting down (despite my impressive sit-and-reach flexibility).

Reach

I’ve also been pulling up onto my knees lately. Pretty soon I’m going to be so mobile Mom & Dad won’t know what to do with me.

Parades and swimming pools

My first Independence Day holiday was quite eventful. First I watched Dad suffer through a brutally hot 5K race.

Are we having fun yet?

After the race, we all loaded up onto the bike and rode in the parade.

Then came the best part. I got a new swimming pool and I got to use it for the first time when we got home.

Great grandma and great cousins

Yesterday went to my great grandma’s house to celebrate her birthday. Nana is 83 now. I’m still zero.

Will visited his great grandma for her birthday

In addition to that, my cousins Caleb and Vivian who live in Texas were visiting too so I got to meet them for the first time.

We had so much fun playing together. Vivian had a box of Barbie band-aids that I just couldn’t put down.

I can’t wait to do this again. Hopefully we won’t have to wait an entire year!

San Fran

Well, I just got back home from our family trip to San Francisco. Just like our previous trip to Albuquerque I behaved pretty well on the flights (aside from puking all over Dad two separate times). There was so much exciting stuff happening I doubt I’ll be able to remember it all!

I rode on the subway (BART).

Our hotel room was on the 29th floor!
