I’ve gotten to know Momma pretty well these past 9 1/2 months. All I can say is that I really lucked out.
She’s always there to comfort me.
Together, we go places.
She looks out for me.
Good night, Momma. I love you.

Grandma & Grandpa Schofield came to visit last weekend, and I slept right through their visit. Well they decided to come back for a visit last night, bringing with them my Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Bassett. Yeah, I slept right through their whole visit as well. They didn’t seem to mind though.

My mean old parents gave me my first “bath” on Friday. I hated it!
Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Schofield came for a visit… or at least that’s what Mom & Dad tell me. I slept right through it.
Later in the afternoon I went for a walk with Mom & Dad.
I liked it so much I went for another long walk with Daddy this morning while Mommy took a nap.

Daddy sure can swaddle me well, but I don’t always need swaddling. Sometimes Daddy can calm me down just by holding me.
And if I’m really lucky I can lay on his chest and listen to the soothing sound of his heart beating.
As you can see, I’ve got some awful big shoes to fill.

My first weekend was hectic.
I did a lot of sleeping, though not for very long periods of time. Since I went home from the hospital on a Friday, the nurses and Mommy were a little concerned about my eating habits, so we had to make sure I was getting enough to eat. This means Mommy didn’t get much sleep.
Fortunately, Grandma Nancy was here to help out with things, including taking care of me and cleaning up after me, so Mommy didn’t get too overwhelmed. Daddy went to the store on his bike to fetch groceries both days. If he keeps that up he might just have to get a new bike that can carry more stuff 🙂
We also had some more visitors, with grandparents, friends, and neighbors stopping by.
It took a while, but I think I finally got settled in here at home. We have a good routine of eating, sleeping, and pooping. We went back to the doctor’s office on Monday afternoon. Not only did I stop losing weight, but I gained three whole ounces.
Mommy has been just great through all of this.

First thing’s first. Happy birthday Mom!
We came home from the hospital today. The morning was a little hectic. They promised to get us out of there, but they were running behind. We had an appointment at the Dr’s office across town at 1pm and we didn’t get out of the hospital until nearly 1pm. Mommy was freaking out a little, but the hospital nurses were kind enough to call the Dr’s office for us to tell them we would be late.
The appointment went well and afterward I finally got to go to my new house. Grandma & Grandpa Raguet were waiting there for us and we all had a party for Mommy’s birthday.
We also had neighbors stop by. Some gave me some awesome clothes. Others brought flowers. Others gave us a gigantic balloon.
Finally, I got to sleep in my own bed.

My second day was a little less hectic. We worked out a routine of eating, sleeping, pooping. Mainly I just spent a lot of quality time with Mom & Dad.

My first day was very interesting, even though I spent much of it sleeping.
Team Ragfield is now has one more member.
I got to meet all of my grandparents.
Along with Mom & Dad’s good friends John & Cara.
It was exhausting.
They took blood to perform some tests, which didn’t bother me the slightest bit. Unfortunately, they also gave me a bath. I didn’t like that at all.
