The first of many Thanksgivings

Well our first of three Thanksgivings is over. This one was with Grandma Barb’s side of the family in Indianapolis. It was my first trip across state lines. Man, it was a blast. I’ve never had so many people fighting to get ahold of me before. I felt like a rock star.

Let's hope she doesn't notice the slobber Great Grandpa Great Grandma This way I can see Hold me A future grandma Please don't send me home with this crazy man How is guys? Grasping

Then, after it was over we visited my new friends Claire & Elliott and I got even more attention.

Busy, busy boy

This morning Momma ran her first race since I was born.

Melissa's first race since Will was born

Melissa blows Will a kiss Melissa waves to Will

She even waved and blew kisses to me as she ran by!

After the race my grandparents and great grandparents came by to join us for lunch.

Grandma loves Will
And Grandpa loves Will

When lunch was over Daddy and I walked to campus to watch my second cousin Tom play in a racquetball tournament (along with the rest of the family).

When we returned home I was so beat I just wanted to lay down and take a nap.

And Mommy loves Will

I was such a good boy all day Mom and Dad just couldn’t believe it. Well, I’m off to bed early. Hopefully I’ll get a good night’s rest so I can be really good tomorrow as well.

Finding Thumbkin

I’ve been working really hard at finding thumbkin. The problem is, my dang arms keep flailing around, so if I find thumbkin, it almost always gets away again.

Here’s a video Mama took of me last week:

And then last night when Mama was putting me in my jammies, I got thumbkin real good for just a minute.

It was a big day for me yesterday. I went to campus with Mama to listen to a talk. Unfortunately, I cried and Mama didn’t know what else to do to keep me quiet, so she fed me, and then I burped real loud. Everybody looked at me.

Tiny Pouting Jedi

Last night we all went to a Halloween party at Professor Pablo’s house. I guess I must have wanted a “store-bought” costume, because I wasn’t too happy that Mama made me wear this outfit she came up with and go as a Jedi Knight. Mama and Daddy went as Jedi Knights too. Daddy was really excited about the light sabers.

Professor Pablo gave me some little outfits with monkeys on them. That was really nice of him. Everybody at the party made such a fuss over me that it just wore me out. I guess it was a pretty good time, but maybe I’ll enjoy Halloween more when I am old enough to eat candy.
