At first, I had hair longer than Daddy’s.
Then it went away, and he caught up to me.
Then I caught back up to him.
We stayed even for a while.
Then mine grew longer.
And wilder.
And wilder.
And wilder.
At this rate, Daddy will never catch back up. I’ve also heard Mommy talk about how she’s never going to let me cut it.

Dearest William, you have very wonderful parents who share the most fantastic photos of you with those of us who don’t get to see you every day except on the computer. Please tell them thank you for bringing you right into our rooms through the computer so we can watch you as you change and grow and grow and change … along with your hair styles!!
lots of love, great auntie
William–let’s just hope you don’t ever cut it yourself! Plus, you never know, Mama might change her mind once you start eatting solid food and get things like jelly and other yummy sticky stuff in there all the time 🙂
