My blog is now two years old. Oh, and so am I.
We had a great party where lots of friends came over to play and my grandparents all visited.
I couldn’t contain my excitement when I started to receive gifts.
Mommy made some delicious cake.
I was prince for a day, even though I continued to wear the crown for a few more days.
with old friends… and my blog.
Swimming is fun.
What’s so funny?
My friend E. was nice enough to give me his old Maillot Jaune, which I have since proudly worn on many bike rides.
Okay, so I’m not quite one year old yet (my birthday is on Thursday), but that didn’t stop us from partying a few days early! Some friends and relatives came over for a good time.
When it came time for me to eat cake for the first time everyone stared at me while I sat in my high chair. Maybe it made me a little nervous because I didn’t much feel like eating cake.
Well, today I gave the cake another try and this time I loved it!
Anyway, thanks so much to everyone, especially Mommy, for such a great birthday party! Can we have another one on Thursday?

(the three Williams)
Mommy and two of her good friends from high school each had a baby boy named William in the past 6½ months. Here’s the first two of us:
The third William was just born two days ago. Welcome to the world, William. We should get together sometime so I can show you around.

Dear Mom and Pop,
I would really like a puppy dog. I promise I would take care of it and you wouldn’t have to do a thing!
If you could get back to me on this issue, I would really appreciate it

I’m starting to get the hang of eating solid foods, but it’s still a little weird for me. Here I am showing my friend Ashlynn how it’s done.
After eating I need to wash it down with some water. Man, that stuff tastes bland.

We spent the few days around Christmas in Peoria with Grandma Nan and Grandpa Rick. They proved once again that I am indeed spoiled.
I have a bunch of new clothes and some kick-ass monkey boots.
Most importantly, with four big people in the house someone was always available to hold me and/or carry me around. You there…
After the gifts I saw my first snowstorm.
Then I got to see Mom’s friend Amy.
…and her husband Ben too (but it’s hard to get excited about that 🙂
Last but not least, I played around with my new (to me) toy.
I assume this Christmas thing (whatever it is) is going to happen once a week or so from now on, right?

My BFF was born yesterday. Her name is Ashlynn and she is very tiny. Mama took me to go visit her in the hospital. I slept through most of it, and when I woke up I cried because Mama kept calling Ashlynn my “girlfriend.” Yuck.

Early this morning I turned one month old. What a month it has been.
We’ve had plenty of exciting firsts.
We’ve seen a few fits.
We’ve had lots of cool visitors.
We’ve had some worries.
We’ve had some rough nights.
We’ve had plenty of fun.
It’s been one hell of a ride…
and I’m loving every minute of it.

With more visitors today, I was able to continue my fake out streak. That is, my streak of perfect, cute behavior when people come over to visit, followed closely by fussy behavior when they leave. That way the visitors don’t believe Mom & Dad when they say I can be fussy sometimes.
Cara & John stopped by in the morning. I got to feel Baby G. (i.e. my future girlfriend) kick.
In the afternoon, Grandma & Grandpa Raguet, Aunt Michelle, Uncle Mark, and Cousin Logan came to visit. This was the first time I got to meet Mark & Logan!
Logan was on his best behavior while I slept.
Sure, I got a little fussy when they left, but Dad & I (and later Mom) went for a walk. Mom dressed Dad up in a baby wrap that looked like a Jedi outfit so he could carry me. He didn’t have room for a light saber, though.
