Now that the family bike is set up and all ready to go, today we packed a picnic lunch and rode over to the swimming pool. It was my first time swimming and I really enjoyed it, especially the splashing.
I also really like grabbing the camera and throwing it down!

I’ve been on a few bike rides with Daddy, but this afternoon we took our first full-fledged family bike ride. Mommy and Daddy hooked my chariot up to Big Red and we went to the park. It was a short ride (which was good because I was getting a little hungry), but still quite enjoyable.
I love how my chariot matches the bike. We looked pretty sharp.

It’s no secret that I don’t like to bend my knees. That’s right. I like to flex my powerful quads all the time to keep my legs as straight as an arrow.
Unfortunately, Mom & Dad don’t share my enthusiasm for straightleggedness. They’re trying to get me to walk and/or crawl, and frankly, I want no part of it.
Lately, I’ve been spending more time on my tummy, which I don’t care for. I make swimming and flying motions, but no crawling motions. Also, they make me kneel and bend my knees a lot.
Maybe it will do me some good. Who knows? I’m not concerned about it.

I was taking a bath. With my fishy.
Although this camera seems like a fun toy too. I wonder if it works under water.
I guess so. Well, bath time is over. It’s time to rinse off.

I’m so excited I can’t sleep (okay, not literally). But I am really excited. Tomorrow is a big day.
Over these past nine months I’ve made some friends.
But none as great as my mom.
She’s always been there for me.
Wherever she goes I follow along.
She’s always looking out for me.
Together we have great adventures.
We share an unspoken bond (mostly because I can’t speak).
She’s my mom, and I’m her boy.
I’m so proud that she will receive her Ph.D. tomorrow at graduation.
Congratulations, Dr. Mom. We love you.

Daddy and I like to have fun.
Sometimes we even dress alike.
We like to play outside together.
We share other interests as well.
We go together, big and small.
Daddy and I are two little monkeys.

I’ve been really into finger foods lately. Cheerios are my favorite.
But I’m not picky, I’ll take whatever I can get.
